TFPF Workshop: Denton

Event Date(s) / Time: Sat, 15 May, 2010 3:00 PM – 4:30 PM Details: Since 1996, the Austin Film Society’s Texas Filmmakers’ Production Fund has supported Texas filmmakers by giving out over $1 million in cash, goods and services to 272 film and video projects. The deadline for the 2010 cycle is June 1st and if you are a filmmaker who has resided in Texas for at least one year, you are eligible to apply for up to $15,000 in funding for your project. At this free workshop, the Austin Film Society’s Director of Artist Services will take you through the application process step-by-step.

2010 Texas Filmmakers’ Production Fund applications open, Deadline June 1st

From now until June 1, 2010, the Austin Film Society (AFS) will be accepting applications for the 2010 Texas Filmmakers’ Production Fund (TFPF). Filmmakers residing in Texas for at least 1 year can request up to $15,000 in production, post-production and distribution funds for their projects, as well as Kodak film stock and in-kind services from Seattle-based Alpha Cine Labs. The deadline to submit is June 1, 2010 and award announcements are made in mid-August.
